I wish that the poor an overview of the scanner have already become familiar. But the version of Windows has been pretty good reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try.

The scanner runs quite well on text documents easier. But if the surface is glossy paper (as in all revenue Amazon.com) scan of poor quality. The scanning speed is ok, but no OCR on each document, seemed to take forever before you can use the scanned image.

The software seems poorly written andPerhaps a version 1.0 or something similar. Was not even seem to be well-thought interface. It ended with causing more work for each document filed paper documents. (Perhaps the Windows software is better.)

When I opened this product it seemed really nice and looks forward to the digitization of many of my … never mind early scan, however, I noticed little white lines to analyze the documents and the software forever in an attempt to take and convert documents to PDF … My HP scanner is almost instantaneous. What was the worst thing is the program … They say it was for Mac OS X crashes, but the software is not just for all the time, but written reasonsThe entire computer to freeze, too … Many, many paper jams, poor layout and organization to the presentation "documents" and the BIG ONE …. Many of the texts on my documents are dark gray and light gray, these scanners and the software easily and completely cut out and make them disappear … useless ….. My HP All in One printer / scanner offers a quality much better with the colors in grayscale, and B / W, which is 10 times faster than in software, and file sizes are much smaller, producing a sharpPhotos … Do not buy, please send them to me sorry for the wasted time and for all! I really do not like the hardware of the scanner (Plustek made by the company in China), but the included software is terrible.

The software stores all documents in a private database, inaccessible to you. You can synchronize a folder hierarchy for themselves and the strength NeatWorks to it as well (doubling the storage requirements) uses, but in this case the file names and GUIDs (a lot of seemingly random letters and numbers) without taking into account the contents inside.

TheThe software crashes constantly. I'm not here, hyperbolic. It really does. Folder crash log contains 23 stops from now scan almost all of them are from NeatWorks programming errors within the software. One of them (from scanner "helper" program that runs silently in the background), my system completely. Given the stability of Mac OS X these days, you have to try * really * hard to do!

Here's what you expect: First, NeatWorkscrashes, freezes and then you try to recover from the previous crash, then builds its database and then stayed there for a few minutes of processing all documents in its order book until it freezes again. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I have to scan into a PDF file using the built-in program for Mac OS X Image Capture was the presentation of documents and manually NeatWorks outside the program, and acknowledge with Acrobat Pro A less lazy person could establish a drop AppleScript folderit automatically.

I keep it because it is the best and cheapest scanner duplex that I have ever used. Just throw away the software.

I love this scanner. Although I have a normal flatbed scanner with a power greater doc This is my scanner going. You can power through the documents, they have converted to PDF and OCR in one step. It 'easy and fast. I emptied a file drawer and two shelves of materials that far. I gained most of my photos. E 'and works from portable laptop battery, if necessary. And 'expensive but worth it. I have my system, I never provided Rack2 Software folder.

I bought one of these scanners an office supply store to try it. I liked the design of gravity-feed without the drum handle most of the scanners sheet. It feeds on the bottom, so that the scanning of documents, staples and stacks were paperclipped (with square corners at the top of this document) is a breeze. The word from the scanner to the computer is a bit 'slow, but the queue contains a large amount before it binds to you. I do not even need the envelopeSoftware for organizing scans only requested a Quick Scan (recommended to switch off when you open the file after creating what really slows down the thing). I have a real estate office and need only contracts, Scan-to-share in the online system transaction management and / or e-mail to agent / client. After testing a unit for a couple of weeks without any major problems, I bought three for my office staff to relieve congestion in our media room copier / scanner, do the same work. I had one of these now for a year and love it. It is very fast and reliable, and a way to move large quantities of paper documents, scanning long ways to eliminate clutter. I also started cutting the thorns of some old books and scan in which it works great. You can scan 500 pages in less than half an hour. I scanned over 5,000 pages now and still works reliably.

By the way, you can use this scanner with Mac OS X and Windows.Google "ScanSnap S510 Mac OS X" and follow the instructions to install the software package and then copy the ScanSnap Japanese English resources. while I was reading the many negative comments from my office was out of control so I try to be ready, everything was skeptical

In just the first three days I had and after filling FOUR waste receipts and documents that I never again to shuffle back all I can say is, you have NeatReceipts!

I'm sure there might be some other better OCR software, and some things besieged etc., but I'm not an engineer so computer geeks geek, so while the occasional input providesSystem is a challenge and I also have three minutes to give the right information into the categories, but 97% of the time is only a matter of deciding what tax bracket you insert the item storage and correct folder. While I have a pretty high-end printer scanner fax machine, the speed with which this small scanner runs a receipt is pretty impressive for the money.

The function card works just as effectively. Well to be honest I was not trying to merge dataof yet so the jury is still out, but I do not really buy this for contact management. For the simple application of the scan, sort and save receipts for tax purposes, I would say that is already on track to pay themselves. For the record I'm talking about NeatReceipts 4.0 and runs on Windows 7

I have a family that is worse than me with its home office and papers, and I probably wrapped around him for this Christmas and willHis wife always liked!

Sorry for so repetitive, but I'm only 20 + pounds of paper, he left my office this morning, never to return or to be transferred from one place to another and the backup feature on my hard drive laptop was enthusiastic seamless. My accountant is thrilled to never have a shoe box with items paperclipped together.

Ultra compact, easy to use, and the images are crisp and clean. I was so happy with the scanning speed and ease of how e-mail attachment. Exactly what I needed. I only wish I had in the last five years. I can not imagine how long I would be able, with my children instead of waiting for slow scanners or fax to my PC to have to spend to get through.

It 's so small that fit properly when not in my office cabinet or drawer.

Has previously receivedtoday. I have always been far behind the file to my PC for e-mail delivery, so I installed the software and connected to the system about 5-10 minutes. I use Windows 7 as I was worried, but before buying I called Fujitsu and said they would be installed without mediation, and they were right.

I was eight property files that I needed to load the internal website, so I was shown hours of waiting and crawl before me. Each file must be scanned at least 70 pages to over 500Pages. I was completed in less than an hour. The search function is unreal. So simple. Mark words and doc-boomers will be highlighted through the words. LOVE IT ~ hope it holds!

Similar ScanSnaps Fujutisu and has a pretty good software. The picture quality is average, but is safe and fast as possible to feed a stack of documents. great for my business account to crawl into a number of documents.

I would not recommend anyone NeatDesk Scanner Mac. I fought with him for months. And 'consistently jams. If it is locked, you can start the scanner and computer together for the computer to recognize it again. You can not get through five pages, without jamming or freezing. This is pure frustration. The Neat Company is not responding or responding slowly to support requests and do not respond to his act, has a link to some general documentation on the websitethis is totally irrelevant to the question. Support for the Mac on the site are only a couple of Knowledge Base article. Neatworks software bundled with the scanner is not even recognize half the time. If it works, the scanner is slow and produces great scans. take lots of space and seems to be the smallest for the normal use. The OCR software is very poor, and end up having to manually enter 80% of the sales receipt or invoice.It takes longer than it should be. useful if the company so I could be a better rating, but the service from the company only requires an already bad and makes it even worse. I'm going to unload on craigslist (unfortunalely not anywhere near what you get paid for it originally, because the word is that these scanners are pure garbage) and buy a Fujitsu.

I have no right to purchase this special desktop entry, but must buy one of the last regular receipt scanner. Needless to say it was a waste of money, collecting dust in his sitting in a drawer! I have a very short time before the problems started, reloaded the software, but still had the files on my computer were corrupted! The backups I had were corrupted! So I lost a lot of useful information, because this machine. I would not spend money at all on this system!Save your money! No help from Neat Receipt are!

I do not think I ever wrote a review of a product before in my life. That alone should speak volumes about this scanner. And 'excellent. I have acquired hundreds of sheets in minutes, and ScanSnap fill all conveniently in a single PDF document. What a great time saver.

I like the customization options for image quality, image type, scan speed, etc. The quality scan on the highest setting is very good (I'm a graphic designer and Have adiscerning eye).

And 'generally very easy to use, but it took me a bit' to figure out how to save as a JPG – Have the option is obviously "color scanning" and then "Apply" (not only for the type of image to go riding without the "Apply"). Even I had not realized that the application of the scanner does not work on the computer when the scanner lid open and the light scanner power is on. This is useful to know all right – but it would be.

If this scannerI would buy another died in a second. Highly recommended!

This review is good news, bad news. The good news is that it works. The bad news is probably not necessary if you do not have many miles.

Here's what you get for your money: (1) Two packages squares Lens Cleaner (2) a package of Letter of clean paper, (3) 100 cotton swab sticks, (4) A spare roll (5) thingies two paper replacement Jiggler, (5) spray bottle with isopropyl alcohol (6) statements.

If you kept your manual, look indig back, or at fujuitsu for the manual and the description of the parts. It will show you enough to make the small amount of disassembly required.

If you acquired 50,000 pages, carbonless paper used or scraped much toner on the rollers (heavy, dark, poorly protected), probably need to replace the roller.

But if you have an easier task for users, this first attempt. Gathering the other parties. Get Uncle Bob, Cousin Sue or someone elsemechanically inclined, if you are not alone, and open the power supply unit, remove the plate with the paper guide.
